FliteMap extends the reach of
vast content to mobile handsets.

Server Deployment:
Web applications become FliteMap-enabled by providing the simple XML dialect Survol calls HDXML ("Hierarchy Definition").  This typically involves a small amount of application-server logic to output this format in parallel with existing logic that outputs HTML, WML, etc.  The difference is that HDXML is the simplest of these formats - using the FliteMap SDK, an existing web app can be FliteMap-enabled in hours.

FliteMap as Service:
Alternatively, Survol can provide a custom proxy server to reflect existing mobile web apps to FliteMap with no intervention at the existing server.  In this case, Survol offers FliteMap reflection as a monthly service - an excellent way to quickly start moving your customers' Big Data to little devices!

"... companies hoping to capitalize on m-commerce must overcome big obstacles. Cell-phone and PDA interfaces remain clunky and hard to use. Today, most cell phones are 'a square peg in a round hole,' says Richard Owen, CEO of AvantGo, .... They're difficult to navigate."
