Samuelsson Named CEO of Survol Mobile

FeedLion Mobile Feed Reader Unplugged

As of today, users of Survol Interactive's FeedLion mobile feed reader can discover feeds, create custom search feeds, configure the reader, and change their interests and other profile items all from within FeedLion itself on the phone.  People for whom access to the fat web via a fat computer is either unavailable or inconvenient can now very easily select which news, news groups, search results, and so on are sent fresh to their phones.  "Every day, thousands of people get their first computer," said Stan Lyness, Survol CTO, "and for most of them, that is the phone.  Many of these will never have need to use a desktop computer."

Survol Releases Mobile Feed Reader

Survol Patent brings Big Data to little devices

Survol Interactive Technologies, Inc. a leader in next generation wireless internet technology today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has granted the company patent #6,496,842 for the technology Survol calls "Streaming Navigation".  The technology provides wireless users with easy and limitless access to mobile messaging, entertainment and enterprise applications.  It unleashes data link activity and user activity from each other to optimize both, breaking the frustrating "click-and-wait" cycle.  By dramatically improving subscriber ease-of-use, Streaming Navigation breaks down one of the primary barriers to mass adoption of wireless internet devices.  Survol foresees applications anywhere large amounts of information might be navigated on small devices - browsing the wireless web, corporate portal, or multimedia titles; retrieving stored messages, contacts, or schedules; document delivery; or large SFA or FSA applications.  It has incorporated the technology in its flagship "FliteMap" products for handsets and PDAs.
